Submission to PricewaterhouseCoopers on the National Digital Mental Health Framework

PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), on behalf of the Australian Government Department of Health, called for submissions on the National Digital Mental Health Framework.

The National Mental Health Consumer & Carer Forum (NMHCCF) submitted a response to the call for submissions on 11 December 2020.

Reason for the submission

The purpose of the consultation was to inform the development of a National Digital Mental Health Framework (Framework) under the Fifth National Mental Health and Suicide Prevention Plan. A Consultation Paper, with questions to guide the response, was provided.

The NMHCCF’s submission focussed on the following key points:

  • Demand for digital mental health services.
  • Supply of digital mental health services.
  • Funding and regulation of digital mental health services.
