What have been your experiences supporting people with mental health challenges during COVID-19?

25 May 2022

The National Mental Health Consumer and Carer Forum (NMHCCF) working with Monash University are seeking participants to understand Family experiences supporting people with mental health challenges during COVID-19 in Australia through a survey. This co-designed research project aims to understand your experiences – especially in relation to the impact of COVID-19 on your caring responsibilities, unmet needs and levels of distress. The survey is available online, and will take around 30 to 45 minutes to complete. All mental health carers are welcome including those from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, diverse cultural backgrounds, LGBTIQA+ community, young and aging carers, and diverse locations such as rural and regional areas. The research will be used to inform a report to the National Mental Health Commission, as well as policy advice to governments, non-government organisations and peak bodies and further future projects relating to the health of mental health family carers. Your participation is highly valued through, using this link https://monash.az1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_1SKNev3Q4A8PYbA.  The link will be open from the 9th of May until the 13th of June.
